Conroe Independent School District high school bands participated in the UIL Region 9 Marching Band Competition on Tuesday, October 21 at Woodforest Bank Stadium. For the third year in a row, each of the District’s five high school bands received Superior ratings.
UIL alternates advancement opportunities each year. This year, 6A bands have the opportunity to advance. The Woodlands College Park High School, Conroe High School, Oak Ridge High School and The Woodlands High School each advanced and will perform at the preliminary round of the Area F Marching Contest at the Galena Park ISD Athletic Stadium this Saturday, October 25, 2014. The bands are scheduled to march at the following times:
College Park HS 11:15 am
Oak Ridge HS 3:45 pm
Conroe HS 4:45 pm
The Woodlands HS 5:15 pm
